Employment at SBL

At Studio Body Logic we are always looking for interested and motivated persons who want to study classical Pilates and are interested in becoming professional instructors of the highest caliber. Studio Body Logic has been known for having the most competent instructors within a warm supportive environment for our students since 1996.

A caring and organized office staff and a non-competitive and positive studio environment support instructors. We have two fully equipped studios with a separate room for our five levels of Mat classes. Mat classes are small so you can work individually with each student. Our private and semi private sessions consist of the same students on a weekly basis. This way an instructor knows their student’s abilities and can work directly with each one and see their progress. We have staff dinners, workshops, and guest teachers, throughout the year so we can grow as instructors and form friendships with other staff members.

SBL offers part time employment and full time, including benefits, employment, for our instructors. We do guide and support trainees through the Pilates certification process so they can achieve their goals within the field.

All of our instructors at SBL have completed a Comprehensive Pilates Certification that includes all apparatus and mat work.

The total number of hours required to obtain a Comprehensive Certification from Power Pilates is a minimum of 750 hours. These hours include prerequisite hours, workshops, apprentice observation and teaching, and three levels of testing. Out of those hours about 400-500 are completed at SBL and the remainder at a certifying center.
